Well we just got done with to Craft Fair one in Evanston and one in Kemmerer. We will next show at the Lyman High school on Dec. 4th and 5th. Hop we can see you there!
In 2005 I was 7 years old and wanted to help out a family in our community whos Dad was facing major health issues. So I did a bake sale at our local Christams craft fair and donated all the money to the family. I enjoyed it and it made me feel good to help someone else. Then the following year in October of 2006 my youngest brother was born with multiple heart defects that left him with half a heart. His future was filled with the unknowns. The incredible community that we live in pulled together and held many fundraiser events; one of those being a bake sale at the same Christmas craft fair I participated in the year earlier. Completly over-whelmed by the outpouring of love and support from our local community and being reminded that they must feel the same way I did the year earlier, me, my brother Preston, and my friend Alyx, decided to continue giving back to others and began what is now known as Crafting For Kidz. In December of 2007 we donated the money we raised to the group Intermountain Healing Hearts. A group for families of kids with heart defects. In July of 2008 we helped our local Special Olympics raise money for their events. And now here we are to the present where we are again going to participate in our local Christmas Craft Fair and donate all the proceeds to a nursing scholarship at a local hosptial that was set up in memory of our Grammy.
